The crackle both summons a cold campfire and a Nosferatu film reel. What a fantastic atmosphere. This is everything black metal should be: dark, gothic, icy, emotive, depressed and triumphant, yet dare I say, romantic. Romance in the modern sense as well as in the older sense of passion and drama, stage plays in dim and melancholy theatres. The pacing and breath within and between songs is also phenomenal. Wow, what a record. pinkytheent

When you enter the blue hell, you are frozen, unable to get out. That ability that this album has to catch you and not let you go is what I applaud the most about this band. One more life experience, but an ordinary experience, an atmospheric and depressing journey, difficult to forget. Frank Román

A powerhouse of blast beats and riffs. Crashing and tumultuous, nothing will stand its way, and nothing will remain when all is said and done. FFO Ravencult. porcelainheart-
An outstanding slab of atmospheric black metal, “Sisyphus” cannily blends texture and terror for a gripping final product. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2021

Out of nowhere, a huge contender of my AOTY.
WW1 is a hell of a topic, and Kanonenfieber create a non glorifying experience I've never heard before. Great lyrics, catching riffs and great atmosphere. Please produce more of this in the future! Dennis Trabandt
